Marly Tomsen is the name of a Premium Resident of Second Life born on the 10th March of 2007.
On the early 2007, her first notable act on the Virtual World of Second Life was the creation of the group Temptation Island Mall which has been constantly growing and operating on several Mainland places allowing Residents to promote and sell their contents in stores at a reasonable cost with shared advertising.
At the begining of 2008, Marly Tomsen sold the Mainland parcel where the last version of the Temptation Island Mall was located and with the income from the sale started to buy new Mainland parcels from Second Life Auctions or from Second Life in-world market in order to resell with a reasonable profit or to cheaply rent those lands to non Premium Residents.
On March 2008, Marly Tomsen became a customer of the Landmachine that provides efficient use of automatons to manage Virtual Real Estate and an easy listing of available properties and web contents.
The website marlytomsen.com was born.
At the end of 2009 marlytomsen.com became "The Virtual Mainland Store" and now offers Mainland Services to Second Life Residents who want to buy Mainland with or without a Premium Account or who are willing to rent safely a Mainland parcel at the best cost.
At the end of April 2010, The Virtual Mainland Store was successfully renting 400,000m² of Mainland and is continuously growing thanks to an affiliate program paying 10% to residents who refer new renters and to cooperative partnerships with other Mainland Retailers.
